The California Water Code requires all urban water supplies within the State of California to prepare Urban Water Management Plans and update them every five years. These plans satisfy the requirements of the Urban Water Management Planning Act of 1983.
The Urban Water Management Plan was adopted by the BCVWD Board of Directors on August 8,2013 and submitted to the California Department of Water Resources for approval. On June 27th, 2014 the District received a letter from the State of California stating that the District’s UWMP had been approved.
