Working Together to Protect Our Community
As wildfire preparedness remains top of mind in our region, BCVWD is proud to partner with the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency on a project that strengthens emergency response capabilities.
Together, our agencies supported a heli-hydrant system connection, a critical tool that allows firefighting helicopters to quickly refill with water during wildfires, helping crews respond faster and more effectively.
This project highlights the importance of regional collaboration, combining resources and infrastructure to support both public safety and long-term water system improvements.
“Together, our agencies delivered a heli-hydrant system connection — an innovative public safety resource that allows firefighting helicopters to quickly refill with water during wildfires, improving response times and strengthening regional protection efforts,” said Director Andy Ramirez, BCVWD Board Member. “This project reflects what can be achieved through strong regional partnerships. By aligning resources and expertise, we are enhancing emergency response capabilities while investing in reliable infrastructure that will safeguard our community well into the future.”
At BCVWD, we remain committed to reliability, collaboration, and supporting the safety of the communities we serve.
