Investing in Safety, For Our Team and Our Community

At Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District, safety is a top priority, not only in the work we do every day, but in how we prepare for the unexpected.

Recently, District staff participated in a Stop the Bleed® training, through the Desert Care Network, for a hands-on course that teaches critical, lifesaving techniques to control severe bleeding in an emergency. During the training, employees learned how to apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and use a tourniquet, skills that can make a life-saving difference before first responders arrive.

This type of training reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in our team, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to respond in emergency situations, both on the job and in the community.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the instructors who led this important training on behalf of the American College of Surgeons’ Stop the Bleed program.

At BCVWD, we remain dedicated to fostering a culture of safety, preparedness, and care for one another.
