Weekend of family fun planned at annual Beaumont Fishing Derby
Children and adults will fish to win prizes this weekend, April 6-7, at the annual Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District Fishing Derby.
The Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District will open its recharge ponds to the public for the event. Competitive fishing will take place Saturday, with open fishing available Sunday. Participants need to bring their own pole and power-bait. No fishing license is needed.
