Conservation Tips

This week, BCVWD celebrates all mothers, but don’t forget about the one we all share — Mother Nature. It’s important that we all play our part in conserving our water, and there’s plenty you can do at home. For instance, only wash your clothes when you have a full load and you can save up to 600 gallons each month.

Earth Day

Happy #EarthDay! Today is an important reminder to protect our precious resources, but BCVWD remains committed to conservation every day of the year.

We replenish groundwater supplies through the Noble Creek Recharge Facility and the MDP Line 16 project, and we educate our customers on how they can make conservation a way of life. Let’s continue to save water and preserve our planet. 🌎 #BCVWD #EarthDay #Conservation

Focus on Conservation

BCVWD is committed to making conservation a way of life.

“Every small water-saving action adds up,” President Covington said. “While turning the water off while you brush your teeth may seem like a drop in the bucket, that soon becomes a full bucket that makes a meaningful difference in our water supply.”
