For this #TBT we’re looking back at the history of the Edgar Canyon Wells. During the 1920s and 1930s, 35 holes were drilled into the ground in Edgar Canyon. Today, there are 13 wells in the canyon that account for about 20-25% of the District’s current water demand.

This week, BCVWD celebrates all mothers, but don’t forget about the one we all share — Mother Nature. It’s important that we all play our part in conserving our water, and there’s plenty you can do at home. For instance, only wash your clothes when you have a full load and you can save up to 600 gallons each month.

It’s National Wildflower Week!

Next time you add or replace a flower or shrub, choose a low water use plant for year-round landscape color and save up to 550 gallons each year.
