Building Connections at Beaumont’s First Regional Vendor Fair
Strong communities benefit when local businesses and public agencies have opportunities to connect, share information, and build relationships.
On October 14, Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District (BCVWD) was pleased to participate in the City of Beaumont’s first Regional Vendor Fair. The event brought together local businesses, government agencies, and utilities to explore opportunities for future partnerships and help businesses better understand the process of working with public agencies.
From construction and engineering to administrative, financial, and other professional services, public agencies rely on a wide variety of vendors to support their operations and serve their communities. The event also featured educational opportunities for businesses interested in government contracting, including information about insurance requirements and the processes involved in becoming a government vendor.
BCVWD was represented by our Director of Engineering as well as our Human Resources and Risk Manager, who shared information about the District’s purchasing and contracting processes, discussed potential business opportunities, and connected with vendors and representatives from other local agencies.
We extend our sincere thanks to the City of Beaumont for organizing this event and inviting BCVWD to participate!
Bringing businesses and public agencies together at the regional level helps strengthen relationships, encourages collaboration, and creates opportunities that benefit our communities.
We appreciate the opportunity to be part of this first event and look forward to participating in future regional vendor fairs!
