Thank You to Our First Responders!

In July, the Idyllwild Fire Protection District visited our main office to lead a hands-on fire safety training for BCVWD staff. Their team provided classroom instruction and live fire demonstrations that gave our employees the chance to safely practice putting out small fires using fire extinguishers, fire blankets – even baking soda!

We are incredibly grateful for their time, guidance, and expertise, and we appreciate the strong partnerships we continue to build with local first responders. This training builds on similar exercises we’ve had in past years with CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire Department through the City of Beaumont, and we’re proud to continue this spirit of collaboration.

👩‍🚒👨‍🚒 To all fire professionals who protect our communities, THANK YOU!

“We value the collaboration and dedication of the Idyllwild Fire Protection District and the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District. This recent hands-on training strengthens our team’s readiness and highlights the importance of regional cooperation in protecting our communities,” stated Andy Ramirez, BCVWD Board Member.
