Seasonal Weather Reminder: Stay Flood-Safe This Winter

As we move into the rainy season, we want to remind our Beaumont and Cherry Valley community to stay aware of changing weather conditions, especially in areas affected by past fires, where slopes can be more vulnerable to flooding and mudslides.

A few simple steps can help keep you and your family safe:

• Stay alert to weather updates and local emergency alerts
• Avoid driving or walking through flooded areas — Turn Around, Don’t Drown
• Be aware of how runoff flows near your home, especially near hillsides
• Keep an emergency plan and supplies ready just in case
