Beaumont, CA — Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District (BCVWD) has once again been recognized as a Great Place To Work® Certified™ organization, marking the sixth consecutive year the District has earned the distinction.

The recognition reflects BCVWD’s continued commitment to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and connected to the District’s mission of serving the community. Earning the certification for six consecutive years also represents an ongoing effort to listen to employees, evaluate the workplace experience, and identify opportunities to strengthen the organization.

“Earning this recognition for a sixth consecutive year is something the Board is very proud of because it reflects the voices and experiences of our employees,” said BCVWD Board President Lona Williams. “Our employees are at the heart of the service we provide to this community. We want them to know their contributions matter, their perspectives are valued, and the District is committed to creating an environment where they can succeed.”

Great Place To Work Certification is based largely on direct employee feedback collected through the organization’s Trust Index™ Survey. The survey evaluates employees’ experiences across key areas of workplace culture, including credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and a sense of belonging. Organizations earn certification by meeting Great Place To Work’s established standards for a consistently positive employee experience.

“Six years of certification does not mean that our work is finished,” said BCVWD Director Daniel Slawson. “Employee feedback helps the District recognize what we are doing well while also identifying opportunities to improve. Taking that feedback seriously and continuing to strengthen the employee experience ultimately benefits our organization and the customers we serve.”

BCVWD uses employee feedback to evaluate programs, practices and resources that affect the workplace experience, including employee benefits, professional development, communication and recognition. These efforts support the District’s goal of remaining a competitive employer and fostering a workplace where employees feel respected and confident that their work makes a difference.

As BCVWD celebrates its sixth consecutive Great Place To Work Certification, the District remains committed to listening to its employees, strengthening the workplace experience and identifying opportunities for continued improvement while upholding its values of service, quality and stewardship.

Great Place To Work Certification is valid for one year, requiring organizations to continue meeting established standards each year to maintain recognition. For more information about Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District, visit https://bcvwd.gov.
